 We built some new cages - the female cages have drop in floor nest boxes that I can pull out if needed. I love the new cages!
**How to Spin Satin Angora**
Use a Light Spindle so you can watch what is happening with each twist and draft. Take 3/4 ounce wool blended with 1/4 ounce angora. Spin with lots of twist. Take 1/2 ounce wool blended with 1/2 ounce angora. Spin with lots of twist. Take 1/4 ounce wool blended with 3/4 ounce angora. Spin with lots of twist. Next thing you know you are spinning 100% angora. with a lot of twist. Avoid blending with Super wash wool.
***Did you know?***
You can tell a rabbit’s age (roughly) by looking at it’s teeth? If the rabbit is very young, the teeth may be semi-transparent. A young adult would have white teeth and on an older adult, the teeth would be horn-colored.
