To the babies that I carried…
but never saw your eyes
Or to tell how much I loved you
but never heard your cries.
When I realized we would never hold you,
The feeling I had was numbing
I didn’t want to believe it was true.
My angel babies that’s who you’ll always be.
Your loving memory lives on in my heart
so you will always be with me…

Yeah I know - long time no blog. Life has been crazy - as always. I am expecting it to slow down a tad so maybe I can keep up here. I actually miss writing - that’s my own therapy *L* So here’s a long over do update…
(Life) Let’s see I am officially 1/2 way towards my Assoc. degree @ OTC. We have both been taking classes for the past year. OTC is also adding a sign language interpreter program that I am considering.I have been working on the family tree book again. I’ve spent the past few weeks up late doing research on that. I’ve got 5 generations on each side now so I’m happy with that.
(Farm) Lots of changes on the farm. We have had a few additions and afew subtractions. I updated the pets page of all our current critters. Mason being the latest addition. He’s our big ole clumsy bloodhound. Love him and hate him - he lives to chew up my stuff. Very frustrating.
(Kids) Cody just turned 7. He is finishing up his 1st grade year and we have a new adventure to begin this summer (more on that later.) Emily will be turning 4 in a few weeks. So crazy to think how grown they are.
(Garden) We will be expanding the Garden this year. I am hoping to have the new fence put up this weekend - this week at the latest and get my plants into the ground. I have already bought tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelons, pumpkins. I am hope my grape vine and my patio peach come back this year. I also want to add some cantaloupe, peppers, and Okra (maybe).
(Website) I updated every page tonight. I added some pictures a few weeks ago so there are also new pictures to take a peek at.

So while riding down Kansas expressway, on our way back from buffalo wild wings. Where we had been visiting with our friends Lena and Anastasia and Belinda. Cody began asking about tombs. We discussed tombs and why they are necessary. Explaining that places that have sand or flood a lot use them to keep the bodies in the ground. Cody wanted to know if Jay had ever been in a tomb. “Nope, tombs are for dead people - not alive people” then added “I don’t want to be in a tomb. It’s a waste of space-no tree’s can be planted no deer can roam. I want to be cremated.” The short silence gave way to Cody bursting out with “what’s cremated mean?” Without hesitation Jay explained that it means once you die, you are burned up and turned into ashes. Instantly Cody professed he wanted to KEEP his ashes! Intrigued Jay asked WHERE he wanted to keep his ashes at. A PICKLE JAR he said. He was going to pour out the juice and put in his ashes so he could keep him forever. Of course Jay wanted to know where he planned on keeping these ashes. Almost on cue Cody said “In my room!” This was getting interesting, so Jay asked if he planned on talking to the jar.”NO, you would be ashes” as if to say duh daddy. Emily piped in “I AM going to talk to the jar and say I love you, I love you, I love you!” Jay wanted to know if he planned on mixing mommas ashes with daddys. “Nope” he said “I’ll just keep the jars side by side” in a proud voice. “I’ll paste a paper with your names on them so I know who is who.” He then claimed he wanted to take those ashes everywhere. Then the final question - Jay wanted to know if he could dump his ashes in the ocean. Cody paused a moment and said “No, your ashes would be to small and the fish wouldnt recognize you!”

OK so I lied about the blog being updated over the weekend. It’s been a month now *L*
Aww well, once again - you’ll get over it. I really do want to get back into writing every day and updating pictures.
There is just a lot going on and this place gets the back burner. So I’ll give a super quick to the point update and maybe fill everyone in on the rest of it all later…
- We added a new family member - Cody & Emily have a new cousin Kaitlynn Brooke :)Â their Aunt Holly has become a Momma.
- Jay is taking online classes @ OTC
- I am taking ASL 2 this semester along with History 130 (then I will be DONE with history!*woohoo*)
- We have a new Puppy (12 weeks old this Sat.) He’s a Bloodhound named Mason and already weighs 20 pounds!
- No new bunny litters - I gave the girls a winter break. I worry to much when I have litters and it’s 3 degrees outside.
- Neko - our cat, had 2 kittens (well more but they didnt make it) a week before Christmas. They are feisty and getting big.
- Emily knows the Alphabet - in english and in sign language. She can count to 15 and knows all her shapes and colors.
- I have been on a reduce clutter spree for a few months - I have a need to get rid of things *L*
- Abby (Sugar Glider we adopted in Aug 08) has grown her tail back completely! I really didn’t think she would ever grown any hair back let alone her entire tail - I’m super thrilled about that.
- It appears we made it through the winter without losing power once! That is freaking awesome!
I know there is so much more to update I just can’t think of it now :/ Don’t you hate when that happens?
